Day01Arrive in Istanbul
Welcome to Türkiye. Arrival at Istanbul Airport, meet the tour manager and transfer to the hotel (check-in 15:00). Evening Bosphorus dinner cruise with Turkish folk performances and a belly-dance show.
Day02Istanbul
Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Binbirdirek Cistern; Topkapi Palace, once the residence of the Ottoman sultans; the Grand Bazaar.
Day03Istanbul – Ankara
Scenic drive through the countryside to Ankara; Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and a panoramic city tour.
Day04Ankara – Cappadocia
On to Cappadocia; an ATV ride through the fairy chimneys and a sunset over the valleys.
Day05Cappadocia
The Cappadocia Red Tour: Devrent Valley, Love Valley, Paşabağ, the Zelve Open Air Museum, Avanos and the Uçhisar Castle viewpoint.
Day06Cappadocia – Konya – Antalya
Depart for Antalya via Konya, the home of Mevlana Rumi, then through the Taurus Mountains.
Day07Antalya
Half-day city tour: Kaleiçi old town, Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower, Republic Square and the Düden Waterfalls, with free time for shopping.
Day08Antalya – Pamukkale
Pamukkale and Hierapolis: the Necropolis, the Roman Bath Complex, the colonnaded street and the white travertine terraces (optional Cleopatra’s Antique Pool, at additional cost).
Day09Pamukkale – Ephesus – Kusadasi
Ephesus: the Library of Celsus, the Grand Theatre and the Marble Streets; the House of the Virgin Mary; a photo stop at the Temple of Artemis; free time in Kusadasi.
Day10Kusadasi – Bursa – Istanbul
On to Istanbul via Bursa, the first Ottoman capital: the Uludağ cable car and the Green Mosque.
Day11Istanbul – Departure
Transfer to Istanbul Airport for the flight home.
