Day by day
Day01Arrive in Cape Town
Arrival at Cape Town International Airport and transfer to the hotel. As the flight arrives late in the evening, a takeaway dinner is arranged.
Day02Cape Town
An orientation tour of the city, then Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting) and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Day03Cape Peninsula
The full-day Cape Peninsula tour: a Seal Island cruise, Chapman’s Peak Drive, the Boulders Beach penguin colony, the Flying Dutchman Funicular at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope.
Day04Cape Town – Hermanus – Garden Route
The Benguela Cove Wine Estate for a wine tasting, an orientation tour of Hermanus, then on to the Garden Route.
Day05Oudtshoorn
The Cango Caves, the Safari Ostrich Farm and the Cango Wildlife Ranch in the Klein Karoo.
Day06Garden Route
A day at leisure, with optional bungee jumping, skydiving and ziplining at additional cost.
Day07Garden Route – Johannesburg – Sun City
Flight to Johannesburg, then on to the Sun City Resort for the rest of the day at leisure.
Day08Pilanesberg National Park
A game drive in Pilanesberg with the chance of the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo — then back to Sun City.
Day09Sun City – Johannesburg
On to Johannesburg: an orientation tour of the city and Gold Reef City, inspired by its gold-mining heritage.
Day10Johannesburg – Departure
Transfer to Johannesburg Airport for the return flight.
