1. Day01Guwahati – Kaziranga

   Arrival at Guwahati and transfer to Kaziranga National Park through Assam’s tea gardens and villages; resort check-in.

2. Day02Kaziranga safari experience

   An early elephant safari through the misty grasslands and a jeep safari in the afternoon; in the evening the Orchid & Biodiversity Park and Assamese cultural performances.

3. Day03Kaziranga – Shillong

   On to Shillong, the Scotland of the East, stopping at Umiam Lake; the evening in Police Bazaar’s cafés and markets.

4. Day04Shillong sightseeing

   Laitlum Canyon, Ward’s Lake, the Cathedral Church and the Don Bosco Museum.

5. Day05Cherrapunjee excursion

   A full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth: Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen Falls and Mawsmai Cave.

6. Day06Shillong – Guwahati

   Drive back to Guwahati and a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra river.

7. Day07Departure

   An assisted visit to the Kamakhya Temple, then transfer to Guwahati Airport.
